Not cyberpunk, but Monday-Paracetamol by Ulrich Schnauss is a great song... _________________ http://bit.ly/dsVlbw >>map

But then this would devolve into yet another cyberpunk music thread no different than the others. Eventually people just post random youtube links with no description whatsoever of what the link is. I prefer the first couple pages of those topics where people actually discussed bands and argued points for why a certain band is or isn't cyberpunk.
Sigh... Oh well. I'll stop whining now; you may proceed with posting random youtube links.

I personally feel Skinny Puppy has a place as cyberpunk labelage.
It's electronic and dark and has tracks filled with strong, rebelious messages.
While I think its hard to say something is or isn't cyberpunk as theres not definate ruling I think with anti-govermant and anti-animal cruelty and singing about things like "the greater wrong of right" for example I think this puts them in the realm of cyberpunk as often we're reading/watching about protaginists that run against the powers that be not just for money or the chellenge but because it's the right thing to do.
As one of my favourite lines in Mirrors Edge (Thanks Lex for reminding me of it in the other thread) is: "They said it was for the greater good but good isn't the same thing as right"
Skinny Puppy is probably my favourite band in existence and has provided a brilliant sountrack for my stalking through many a dark city in my travels and definatly deserves the label _________________ What's more important, the data or the jazz? Sure, sure, 'Information should be free' and all that- but anyone can set information free. the jazz is in how you do it & what you do it to. the data is 1's and 0's. Life is the jazz.

Agreed, they embraced the first cyberpunk movement to occur during the 80's-90's. _________________ __o__
