hey!

i hope i put this topic in the right space

i am looking for a movie. i have looked for it since i had internet but never found it - no google, no google images, no imdb forum or keywords, no nothing.

i was mesmerized by your reviews and the work invested. it gave me some suggestions when i thought i have "seen them all" (and 95% did too: ). i have not read through ALL reviews, time is a big luxury for me, till i get rolling with life. internet was so enchanting, i blinked away my past.

clues:

0. it was a live action SF movie with cyberpunk subject matter
1. i have seen it broadcast on TV about 9 or 10 years ago.
2. i don't know if i have seen it all or just the last half hour
3. it was theatrical, two persons talking about philosophical subjects in a white room - the room was chroma key white or studio white, totally flat... the only furniture were chairs, although i might be conjuring them in my mind
4. i think it was in english but i am not 100% positive (i read the subtitles... so there is a chance it wasn't)
5. the subject of the talks were highly philosophical, in a moral-practical sense
6. one of the characters had his face sewn together from patches of skin (white, yellow, brown)
7. as far as i recall, he also had a hole to plug in stuff behind his ear
8. he was not a cyborg (or the point of the movie was that he developed feelings)
9. the translated title (in the language of the country i live in) was the MAN WHO SEWS

i ain't making any false hopes.

but i think it was a good movie, traumatizing in a good sense (otherwise i wouldn't seek it) and very sensible/deep compared to the usual TV programming at that time.

may the bit be with you

It saddens me that this site has just become "find me this movie."

p.s. It's Mr. Stitch in English.

I wasn't happy to see the forum get moved over to cccf, but I get why it was done. So far that site hasn't gone down and not on poster attempted to sell golfclubs.
