Hey guys just finished reading the Deus Ex: Iccarus Effect Awesome novel by the way but it got me thinking.
If and when full blown augmentation becomes commonplace Would you or Would not
Personally i would go the minimalist approach to augmentation mainly data processing and Visual Augments to replace my glasses

Don't wanna be the pain in the ass, but we have lots of these polls on here already... by all means, read back a few pages and necro one if you like. _________________ Knowledge is power.

I wouldn’t for a reason brought up in the original DX: any tech you install now would be out of date VERY quickly as compared to how much your body can adapt. For example, if you get an eye augmentation, it’ll last you maybe 2 years before the hardware is out of date and no firmware upgrades.
There won’t be universal standards.
