I remember seeing this on network television. If there is a boxed set available I may have to track it down for myself. It was a great show. _________________ Modern science has made many wonders and many monsters. I wonder though, where would place a humanoid, humanized amphicyon (wolf-bear) like me?

Max Headroom was brilliant. I found the original pilot plus the entire series online about two years ago, and it definitely lived up to my memory of it from the 80s.
I especially love their vision of future computers. Mostly command line, fuck yeah.

Say what you like for the 80s it may have been over the top but they did prove they knew how to make a good show back then. _________________ Modern science has made many wonders and many monsters. I wonder though, where would place a humanoid, humanized amphicyon (wolf-bear) like me?

I loved the film. All of the episodes are great for when you're up late and need to watch something to get into dreamland safely. _________________ "Are you classified as Human?"

I was recently given Charles Rocket's personal VHS copy of episode #1.
(Charles Rocket played Grossberg.)
Weird little useless artifact.

They used to have him present a music show doing the continuity in between songs on Channel 4 (UK). That was sometime in the 80s or maybe early 90s, I can't remember.

ahh.. Max Headroom, not sure how to approach this, it's cult status piqued my interest yet it looks a bit corny.. haven't watched any of it yet but heard there were two ( or three if u count the movie) incarnations, the uk pilot and then adopted us series ( if I am right) , is it worth watching the original uk pilot first then move on to the us version? also is the film of quality presentation also ??
