Version 0.9

Here's another one, Azureus Rising.

Very good visuals and action sequence but would have liked some sort of story/plot, although the title does say it's a "proof of concept" rather than intending to be a complete short.

Thanks for the link. I really like the visuals, slick and clean. Also nice action footage.

Omega Shell (2000)

Shot in the year 2000, Omega Shell is consider by many the first straight mexican Cyber Punk film. After winning multiple awards on both sides of the border, the short went to have some modest success in the underground circuit.

Written, Edited, Photographed and Directed by Aaron Soto. Starring Giancarlo Ruiz. Music by Edgar Guerra. Art Installation by Aldo Guerra. Produced by Roberto Aguero. Shot in real locations in Tijuana.

My short abstract art film, "Declaration". Mildly cyberpunk.

Thanks. It makes producing no-budget sci-fi easier if you have props like that kicking around your house...

My biggest disappointment this past year was that one of my roommates was spending a few weeks in Japan, and he agreed to shoot some footage of my favorite building in the world, for use in one of my shorts. When he got there, the building was nowhere to be seen. It had been torn down sometime in the past few years. DAMMIT.
