the differences between cyberpunk and rivethead culture

I was a devoted rivethead, and I think the most the two subcultures share is the music, color pallet, love of machinery, and use of military gear. But you won't see cyberpunks running around in platform boots, mock respirators, peaked caps, and those ridiculous goggles with symbols and crap painted over the lenses.

If you do, challenge them to a foot race through the city, or get a cop angry at them. Laugh as they fall down over their giant soles and bondage pants, while their fake respirator and mesh goggles do nothing against police pepper spray. Laughing
