^That is a link to an entire free cyberpunk audio book, read by the author herself.
I listened to it in October and liked it quite a bit.
I'm not sure if it has been posted here before, so I'm risking shame with this post. Despite this, I'm willing to offer up this tasty treat in the face of shame, because it provides a quick, but pleasing, novel in the lazily digestible audio format. Though not groundbreaking, it satisfies the all-present hunger for accessible cyberpunk fiction. Enjoy. Or don't?

I have heared this book scene long times.In this podiobook the future is boring.Technology has solved the world's most pressing problems,leaving people with tedious work and mundane play.I'll give it a shot.I am downloading all the links.

Stormtrooper of Death

Never tried audiobooks. I am now listening to 'self made'. It sounds nice, maybe an idea when i am in bed to listen to audiobooks, instead of reading books in bed. Could be a bit more comfortable.

I came across this work a few months ago. I found it enjoyable, very much the fiction catered for those familiar w/ the world around IT, system analysts, and programmers.

As far as the actual voice work, didn't find it to be as captivating of a story when the author's voice leaves out much of the personality the stories characters are given. the protagonist seemed to be flat much of the way through and when the storyline gets to those action scenes, only then does the author get into the chars mind and creates that particular made up voice of danger, fear, sorrow, love, hate, etc...etc...

the story is decent, and her other works are just as fantastic. I'd like to read/listen to more of her material if the right voice is carrying the story.

**the voice I had in my head during a few parts of the chars dialogue didn't seem to match the energy scene due to the authors low energy.

** I've been working w/ a voice coach and a music producer in order to prepare myself for when I make the transition into writing strictly for audio. So the second part of my review is biased in that I'll soon be working at creating my characters worlds through my own voice, and I admit it's not entirely easy, especially when you've read that paragraph over a million times in your head and out loud in your office/room.

Hi, cyberpunk fans.

I'm the author of Beautiful Red, and I just wanted to let you know that I'm releasing my third SF novel Act of Will as free serialized audio or PDF downloads. It's starting on Feb 14, 2011.

Act of Will is the sequel to Self Made, which is set in the same world as Beautiful Red, but some years later.

In quick response to g8rvalle, you might find that my narration of Self Made and Act of Will are more to your taste. I was intentionally going for the flat tone with BR and have since changed my pacing a little. I think. YMMV
