Hi Everyone,
I don't know how many of you know italian language, but I decided to post anyway... Danno, an italian rapper, worked for a project with a Dj, and they made a album based on cyberpunk culture: Artificial Kid.
Not like the most, this kind of hip hop doesn't talk about guns and drugs, but it is a social music that explains the actual situation, and how man is involved in the system, that controls everything, and make him think what it wants.

do you know if there are there some other cd based completly on cyberpunk ?

A third eye album...which i have happily owned for many years-since about 92 i think, has a lot of cyberpunk lyrics, 'im made of meat, meat makes mistakes, im made of meat, meat dont always work'....and 'hyper-reality' To this day i have not found the name of the album ne where on the cover.
The actual CD design is the coolest in my collection. The back of the CD is black and the silver comes through as a printed circuit board...its awesome Wink

Information Society's "Hack"
If I remember correctly it was also one of, if not the first multimedia CD's that if you played it in your computer it provided extra content. This was in 1990.

Angelspit's music has a cyberpunk feel to it.

Angelspit is literally one of the worst "bands" I have ever had the misfortune of seeing perform live.

I haven't been impressed with their own stuff, but their remixes are great. Smile

Nothing went wrong per se, they just suck.

Yeah, I've heard they're really boring and terrible live. I watched some videos of them playing and they just kind of stand there and sing/play keytar/synths.

Atari Teenage Riot and Left Spine down are probably the closest you'll get to a "cyberpunk" music genre.

I read about Artificial Kid while searching the web for Cyberpunk music. I thought about posting something about it here in the forum.

I love Information Society. "Hack" is really good, in my opinion.
