This thread is for asking formatting and style questions for the reviews. I expect as we get different types of media involved, the list of questions will grow.

A couple up-front rules:

Everything should be spell-checked: This one's pretty basic, but the idea here is we want this site to maintain a decent level of quality. Spell-checking is important.

No Nudity: In general, I don't think we should be permitting nudity here. I do have some pretty severe images in some of my cyberpunk reviews though. In places where we are worried that something should be for adults, let's put these on a separate page with appropriate warnings.

Be Interesting: To me, this is more important than set formats. I often find that a movie strikes me in a certain way that guides the review. While I have an overview and "bottom line" section in my reviews, often the stuff in the middle is different depending on how the movie strikes me.

Over time, we need a Category Structure: I really want cyberpunkreview to be a resource for people. This means that it's not just a series of reviews, but that the reviews are placed in a useful category structure. I've detailed this with movies, but we'll need to do the same thing with games.

As early as possible, we should at least try to determine a general organizing structure, as this will determine it's permanent location. Notice that the hyperlink for the individual movie reviews all are decade-based, for instance.

HTML Tags used: This blog uses HTML tags for the content. Most tags work, I think.

Horizontal Rule starts review area: We need to start off our reviews with an "<HR>" tag. This creates the green line right after the stars.

I have three CSS styles defined so far:

QUOTE: For text after graphics, I have a centered red text. To add this to your review, use the following code:

<div class="quote">Your text under graphic.</div>

In-line Section Header: Within my reviews, I use a green header text for each section. the words "Overview" and "the Bottom Line" use these for instance. To add this to your review, use the following code:

<span class="iTitle">Overview:(or whatever word you need)</span>

Page Header:For my category pages, I use a large, dark green text. You probably won't need to use this, but if the mood strikes you, to add this to your review, use the following code:

<span class="messagetitle">Here is your text.</span>

Initial Image: To start the review with an image (after the horizontal rule), use the following code:

<hr>
<p align="center"><img src="http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/images/yourimage.jpg" alt="Screencap"> </p>
<p>&nbsp; </p>

Change the "images" directory as appropriate (games_images, for example). You might even want to link to an external image - this is OK as long as you know it won't dissapear. Amazon is good for this.

In-line Images:Use the following code for in-line images in-between your paragraphs.:

<p>&nbsp; </p>
<p align="center"><img src="http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/images/yourimage.jpg" alt="screen capture" /> </p>
<p>&nbsp; </p>

Space between paragraphs: I generally think the space Wordpress adds between the paragraphs is too small. If there's a way to set this, I haven't figured it out yet, so between paragraphs, I add:

<p>&nbsp; </p>
